Ipstones and Foxt Summer Series Race 10th July
This year I'am organising a trail race in Ipstones as part of the summer series that is hosted by Staffordshire Moorlands Athletics Club.
The series consists of 9 races and combines the results over the series into a league table.
The series caters for a range of courses and abilities from easy track routes to fell races around the Staffordshire Moorlands. The series celebrates both running and the landscape that surrounds the runner in many different rural landscapes in the Moorlands.
The race is on the 10th July on a Thursday evening, there will be three races. The mini's , the juniors and the seniors race. The seniors race starts at 7:15pm and the minis, juniors will follow after.
The senior race is 5.2miles that starts at Ipstones and then goes to Foxt and then back to the Ipstones.

The maximum elevation for the course is 854ft, most of which comes in the second half of the course.
Registration for the race starts at 6:30pm and its £7 pound for seniors runners who have not already paid. The Juniors and minis races are £1.
The other summer series race attract around 175 runners.
Runners and spectators are invited for a sociable drink at the Sea Lion Public House.
Location for the race:
The provisional route for the race. The first 0.3 miles will change for the start of the race on race day.
If you decide to recce the route please stick to public footpaths and not on farmers land, as permissions for this is only on the race day. Thank you.

I also helped my brother, billy and richard organise there race the peaks sky race. This races starts in Buxton, then goes over to the roaches, then the shutlingsloe, shinning tor and back to buxton.
